Role Overview
We are seeking a Learning and Development Consultant with expertise in designing and delivering training programs under the COJG framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, facilitation, and adult learning methodologies. This role requires a strategic thinker who can assess organizational needs, develop tailored training programs, and ensure businesses receive maximum benefit from COJG funding.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver COJG-eligible training programs aligned with business and workforce development needs.
  • Consult with clients to assess training needs and create customized learning solutions.
  • Guide organizations through the COJG application process, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, both virtual and in-person.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional methods, including workshops, e-learning, and coaching.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
  • Stay updated on COJG regulations and best practices to optimize training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to integrate learning solutions into broader talent strategies.

  • Qualifications & Experience7+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or corporate training.
  • Experience working with COJG-funded training programs is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver customized leadership, technical, and soft skills training.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and facilitation techniques.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital learning tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fractional/consulting capacity.

Compensation

$1,500.00 - $14,000.00 per month
