Role Overview

We are seeking a Learning and Development Consultant with expertise in designing and delivering training programs under the COJG framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, facilitation, and adult learning methodologies. This role requires a strategic thinker who can assess organizational needs, develop tailored training programs, and ensure businesses receive maximum benefit from COJG funding.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver COJG-eligible training programs aligned with business and workforce development needs.
Consult with clients to assess training needs and create customized learning solutions.
Guide organizations through the COJG application process, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, both virtual and in-person.
Utilize a variety of instructional methods, including workshops, e-learning, and coaching.
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
Stay updated on COJG regulations and best practices to optimize training initiatives.
Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to integrate learning solutions into broader talent strategies.

Qualifications & Experience7+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or corporate training.
Experience working with COJG-funded training programs is strongly preferred.
Proven ability to design and deliver customized leadership, technical, and soft skills training.
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and facilitation techniques.
Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital learning tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently in a fractional/consulting capacity.
